The angle I find quite intriguing is to look at communities in a very open sense and potentially across different online platforms. Broad/big data vs deep/rich data approaches and their individual limitations seem like interesting points to start a methodological discussion from.

My question is how best to develop and get ‘buy in’ to virtual communities, particularly for inter-disciplinary or inter-institutional research projects, or cMoocs for that matter?
